My Favorite Mecha Anime

I picked this for my favorite Mech anime because I don't see a lot of love for the animes I grew up with which I felt these types of anime were more appealing in terms of style and character development. This also what I consider one of the anime that got me more interested in Isekai animes like Digimon, .Hack and Inuyasha. I love Merle, catgirl in the orange yellow dress, despite her being seen as the younger sister character to Van, the one driving the flying dragon. The movie version was so cheated compared to the anime series despite her being better animated in the movie. Hitomi was very whiny to me when I was younger and watched this but as an adult, I get it. She had a lot of valid complaints and had to navigate a land she didn't know with people wanting to take advantage of her. Most valid isekai response that I now compare how Isekai Protags handle their transportation.
