Paris, France.Don't remember what building this is (someone will probably let me know), but they don't build them like this anymore
(Btw that thing in the foreground is the ear off of a giant stone head statue)

Was built around the 1200's ... when the Gothic Era took off. Started in Western Europe, obviously Gothic b/c of the rose windows and the flying buttresses. The foreground is distracting, but the building is gorgeous. Looks just like the ones in my text book!
