“What’s better for putting put out a pesky fire than a tempest?” - Archwitch Maria

Building upon u/Just_Goblin and u/Background_Fan1056 (from Reddit)‘s OG ideas about the actual Sol Eggman being an Evil Chaos Wizard version of Maria, I figured she’d create a magic-powered “Mecha Sonic” to counter her nemesis Blaze the Cat!

Tempest has control over water & wind and is able to lauch piercing water blasts, create rainfalls and tornadoes, and thrives in places with lots of humidity

She’s fast enough to catch up with Blaze, but her main focus is in power!

Since I’m thinking of this Archwith Maria having a “mother nature witch” theme I may redesign Tempest to look more natural/rough and watery instead of crystal and smooth

P.S.: Archwitch Maria isn’t Eggman’s cousin, the name is an in-universe coincidence and I’ve decided to keep it to be an irony and make clear she’s Eggman’s counterpart

I love that Nega is actually from the future and got into Sol Dimension somehow, and that made an opportunity to create the real Eggman parallel from Sol Dimension!

Nega and Archwitch Maria fought each other a lot - high-tech machines VS high-magic nature - and this kept Maria’s evil plans at bay, but now that Nega is out of Sol Dimension, she can finally expand her forests to make the world her green paradise!

So right after beating the robot pirates, Blaze is now in a journey to stop her at all costs!

Originally I thought of Tempest as being Metal Sonic's counterpart, but u/Due_Lion_2990 pointed out she looks more like a Silver Sonic, so I'll make Tempest be Mecha Sonic's counterpart! This gives opportunity for her to have Mk. II, Mk. III etc. designs like in Sonic X-treme and 3&K, and Mecha was created to DESTROY Sonic (he's named Anti-Sonic Unit in one of his concept arts), not to beat him in their own game (in Blaze's case, fire)

So a Metal Sonic parallel to Sol would actually be either a magical elemental construct of fire, or a Metal Blaze created by Eggman Nega!
