Gift for @_uomee of her OC Ivy the Squirrel, who likes giving trinkets to friends and family!Really liked how this one turned out! Found a faster way of painting smoothly by focusing on the big picture first and them adding details, and tried some new stuff on the sand and sea to make 'em look better.
The perspective was hard, I did a bit of hand studies to draw Marine's hands and changed them 3 times. I also tested a more complex construction, which helped in some parts and in others didn't do much. Nevertheless, I did a process of finding mistakes and correcting them using a checklist, and oh boy that saved me!
Doing the trinkets was challenging, but very fulfilling afterwards. I'm specially fond of the treasure chest and the dolphin.
All in all, I had lots of fun and learned a lot drawing this scene!
