Description Got what I thought was a pretty cool request on facebook. "Lucy in the sky with diamonds", that famous song written by John Lennon.

Right away I had the dream of creating an elegant "diamond glyph". Unfortunately, as I feared, the word "diamond" just has so many letters that it is hard to compress it into a simple geometrical shape.

I had to instead opt to build a "diamond bracelet/chain" inside the A and D, it turned out quite nice. It was a real pain to draw, getting all the angles perfect enough that they would actually "resemble diamonds" took quite a few tries.

So this try at a "diamond glyph" could only be considered a partial success. I think there may be hope in the idea of curling up the word and making it look like a diamond ring, but I tried a couple times and failed, giving up quickly as I have other things to move on to. I'll come back to it later some day.

Dscript is a constructed script, it was originally a "directional constructed script", this means it could be written both vertically and horizontally with a single pen stroke design. Over time it evolved into its current form, a "dimensional constructed script" which allows the "letter strings" of the directions script to be wrapped up, contorted, forked, and even have letters placed inside of other letters.

There are plenty of materials and resources available to help learn Dscript.
