Description
Ok, I know alot of people have issues with the pervious Dscript letter Z. Many complained it ambiguous, though technically it was not, others justly criticized its complexity and difficulty to write. For all the trouble, it just wasn't worth it. I had meant for it to allow "not lifting the pen" more often and to try to keep it oriented more to the standard Z rotation, but again, it just wasn't worth it anymore.
The "new" version has existed for a while, I have just finally decided to adopt it as as the new "standard" in the upcoming versions of Dscript.
This issue has been around since I first started publishing Dscript, See the YouTube video below to see the original Z. Near the end of the video I address proposed versions of the "new letter Z".
I feel this version is the most efficient while still maintaining original form to some degree.
You are of course free to modify it however you like, or re-index the entire Dscript alphabet. There have been many other great suggestions, perhaps most interesting was to use a "solid dot" in the word line for a Z.
I really like the solid dot idea, but am worried about how hard i may be to latter distinguish what is a dot and what is a thickened solid line.
