This is one of my favorite depictions of Harry Dresden that I've ever seen. The lighting and contrast is so well done! Beautiful

Very well-done, though I have to agree with some others that your Dresden looks a little bit too young and fresh - given the way he tends to get ragdolled in his fights, I'd have expected him to look a little more like someone who's had his face pushed in a few times.

Amazing artwork!. I remember seeing this as the cover for a compilation volume I'd see once but unfortunately never found again. It's also the duel scene from White Night which happens to be one of my favorites in the series. I like that you included Vitto Malvora's knives in addition to his sword.

LOVE this piece. His expression is so calm and intent, recognizing an enemy and focusing on meeting it. The clean geometry of the shield and how the glow casts highlights and shadows on Harry's face and trench, and the subtle reflection of it on the blade. The way that you did the metal of the sword - not as sparkly!shiny as a lot of the fantasy art you see, even pro art, and the way you did that sheen of blood on it. The design of the monsters, and the composition.
Like most of the commenters, I'm one of the ones who thought at first it was digital - it's so much easier to get that glow of the shield with digital than traditional! Kudos! You hit this one out of the park.

I love how calm he is. It's like: "Eh, hellbeasts. Just another day for Harry." This is absolutely beautiful. The textures, the intricacies of the shield, the sword in the foreground, all of them are perfect. And now I'm going to be a shallow fangirl and say that I love Harry's hair.

The shine and blood stains on the sword is beautiful. The wrist-daggers are an awesome addition, giving it the feel of the 'hero vs. villain' moment.

This is amazing! *This* is what I always envisioned Harry looking like! 5 o'clock shadow, mussed hair, bad ass expression. Some nasties are gonna get it! And I love the details on his shield, and the glow it leaves on everything. Superb work!
