*3 Days before the Mission 3 announcement by Mako*

Arin: I dunno, after many screw-ups in your past missions, I’m very hesitant on letting you two be on the next heist

Flint: Please ma’am, I really think we could get it right this time. I promise I’ll be a better member of the Outlaws

Arin: Oh, I know you will, since you’ve done some very helpful and diligent work around the camp, but what about your partner?

Flint: Vanya? Well….we do argue most of the time, but-

Arin: And that’s it! You go on these missions, come back empty, and Mako always gets frustrated because of it. But the biggest problem is you can’t agree on things. You’re nice, friendly, short, and you always use that big noggin of yours, and the rabbit is tall, angry and always runs before she has a chance to look in the front. I get it, you two are different, and it’s hard to mix two different things together! It’s like putting hot sauce on ice cream, it can really taste bad…..well, not that I have ever tasted it.

Flint: I know, but every time I try to explain what the best thing to do is, she always asserts her plan is better! I either get mad or confused, and it hurts the both of us.

Arin: That’s why you’re going to have to think about your little team that you too that. Mako says that you have three choices: Learn to cooperate, quit the team, or leave the Outlaws. It’s simple, although I prefer that first two.

Flint: I mean….but she’s just…….*sigh* I’ll find someway to solve this. It won’t be easy though….

Arin: Hmm….why did you join?

Flint: What??

Arin: Not to get into anything personal and deep, but why did you join the Outlaws?

Flint: Just….to fulfill a promise…

Arin: That’s nice….just remember that before you two go on the next mission.

Flint: Aye aye, Captain…

(Not sure if I should count this as a prologue, but just a piece of story before I start on M3)
