Nate's art. A picture of the main cast of one of my favorite childhood shows, "Toad Patrol", redesigned with different colors and sizes to make them standout more. I was really surprised how well the show held up as an adult, considering that it was made for a much younger audience, and with so much untapped potential in its worldbuilding, I would really love to see it remade for an older audience, matching a tone closer to "Avatar the Last Air Bender." Hope you like it! It took me many sleepless nights to finish it!

1. Oyster: Second youngest toadlet, along with her twin, Slippery Jack. She basically serves as the scout of the team, using a telescope or "See All" to spot targets from afar.

2. Slippery Jack: Twin brother of Oyster and the brains of the group. He usually comes up with the big plans and utilizes maps or "Path Finders" to help the team around the Great Forest.

3. Shaggy Mane: The fourth oldest toadlet and the one who comes up with all the names for things the Toad Patrol sees in the forest. He is also a poet and utilizes a rope or "Coil" to grab things.

4. Puff Ball: The fifth oldest of the toadlets, but also the biggest and the strongest. He's also my favorite because he's a total smartass. Teehee! He wields a hammer or "thunder stick" to smash through obstacles.

5. Fur Foot: The oldest toadlet and leader of the Toad Patrol. He wields a cougar claw or "Hook" mostly for climbing or grabbing objects.

6. Beauty Stem: The second oldest toadlet and basically the mother of the group...whom I may or may not have had a crush on as a kid...DON'T JUDGE ME!!! She utilizes firefly dust or "Shine" as torches to light the way, blind opponents, or even as a means to warm up her siblings during the chilly season. She wishes to become a healer after her adventures with the Toad Patrol are done. She is definitely my second favorite toadlet after Puffball because she is most welldefined of the group.

7. Elf Cup: The third oldest toadlet and a bit of a brat. She wishes to be leader of the toadlets, but her immaturity gets them into trouble a few times, but she does become less of a brat by the second season. She was also in a love triangle between Beauty Stem and Earth Star, but may or may not be interested in Puff Ball, now, (I dunno if they are related by blood or if they adopted each other, so I have no idea how their relationship works ). She utilizes a flute or "tooter" (giggles like a fourth grader) mostly for enjoyment and to impress Earth Star.

8. Earth Star: Technically not a member of the Toad Patrol, but one of their closest friends on their journey to find the Fairy Ring, magical portal that will lead them to Toad Hollow (basically a toad utopia). He was born one year before the other toadlets and wanders the forest out of boredom and guilt for the loss of his previous group (long story short, they turned into toadstools because of magic, or something. Don't ask). He was my favorite character in the show, when I was a kid, because he has sunglasses and sunglasses are always "KEWL!" He plays a guitar or a "Strum-a-Long" which he usually uses to try and impress Beauty Stem, although she doesn't appear to return his feelings until near the end of the story.

Mistle Toad: An adult toad who is search of relics of a lost toad civilization known simply as the "Ancients" who occasionally helps the toadlets on their journey to get to find the Fairy Ring to help them enter Toad Hollow so they don't turn into toad stools before winter comes (again, long story).

10. Panther Cap: The youngest toadlet in the Toad Patrol, gifted with the ability to speak to thunder trees to help the team find their way to find the Fairy Ring. I redrew him with a tail to show how he hasn't quite reached maturity like his brothers and sisters.
