About Lycoris Tribe : { Journal link }
Landscapes, fauna and flora:
Lycoris Forest : Forest said to be inhabited by spirits and ghosts, the graveyard of the tribe is located in the honeycombs. The places are regularly covered in white haze early in the morning or late evening. This mist gives the impression of seeing ghosts or silhouettes coming from the other world. Lycoris flowers appear at the end of summer and throughout autumn. The entire forest is covered with a red carpet during this magical period. Honeycombs : The Lycoris cemetery is located further back in the lycoris forest. (pun with catacombs) The trees in this area have more of an orange, golden colors like honey.
Koi Lake: Called like this because of the koi fish that you can easily spot swimming in its waters. Large schools of colorful carp can be approached without difficulty. These fish are tamed by the inhabitants of the tribe and come to eat the offerings right between their paws. Many maples decorate the landscape, several species with crimson red and orange leaves grow there.
Red Village: Located in a maple forest. Here you can find the dens of the members of the tribe and a path that brings you to the Immortality Spring. At the base of the path there’s the alpha’s den. The tribe members usually build their dens under big tree bark pieces. The landscapes of the Japanese archipelago inspire the fauna and flora of this place.
Immortality Spring : Located at the end of a path that starts in the maple forest, it’s a spring on the top of a hill. The water isn’t deep, it is very clear and you can see koi carps swimming in it. On the other side of the pond there’s a big sakura cherry tree, always in bloom (pink petals decorate the surface of the water)
Dragon River : Linked to the Immortality Spring. The myth said that a carp ascended from the river to the spring, and became a dragon in the end. This river runs alongside mountains further away which do not belong to the pack's territory, but which can be admired in the distance. there are large waterfalls on some of these mountains.
Frogs’ playground : Small islets in the center of the main river. It is a place where a banana plantation grows with giant bamboos and some species of ferns. It's a place where you come across a lot of frogs and where the more adventurous love to take refuge and relax. The banana trees in this area would correspond to Japanese banana trees (smaller with red colored bananas)
The Goddess Shrine : A large plain covered with green meadow. The area is located in a slight basin which forms a furrow up to Koi Lake. In the opposite direction, towards the main river, there are numerous large, round rocks, up to 3 or 4 meters high. They were shaped by erosion during very ancient times. The large round rocks in this area are inspired by Portuguese landscapes (northern Portugal).
The Goddess run : The main river is bordered by tropical vegetation, bamboos and banana trees (with red bananas) as well as a few coconut trees. this water is less good to drink than that of the dragon river. Because it leads to the ocean and there can sometimes be a salty taste despite it being mostly fresh water. It is not uncommon to see marine animals coming from the sea venturing there.
The other shore : This shore can be easily observed from the other side of the river. This is an area that does not belong to the tribe. Loners pass there, and sometimes highwaywolves. Members of Lycoris prefer not to venture there, except to trade with passing merchants. They consider this place dangerous.

Prey is numerous and in abundance. Wild pigs and deer are mainly hidden in the lycoris forest. It is also one of the places where the most fruits can be found in DragonStone Valley.
