Hey, gang!  I'm back early in the morning to bring you my ancestral variants for the Trapinch Pokemon line.  I say it's ancestral because this is the early ancestor of Trapinch that once dwelled in my (fanfic) Pokemon region.

Starting with Trapinch itself, it is a STEEL-type Pokemon that looks a little like a dinosaur.  Specifically a T-rex.  The early Trapinch from long ago existed in the Jurassic or Cretaceous Era (I'm still deciding) in my region.  This is an ancestor to the modern Trapinch, like Hisuian Growlithe is Growlithe's ancestor.  And reviving such ancestors will replace the use of Fossils in my game.

To revive this Trapinch, simply take a modern Trapinch with the Ancestral DNA Gene to the Pokemon Center & they'll create a clone of its ancestor, this little guy!

Moving on, we see its first evolved form which I loosely based a little off Vibrava: Vibrasaur.  The spikes on its back are resemblant to the rhombus-shaped wings that Vibrava has as this creature is Vibrava's ancestor.

And finally, the last evolution, Flygon's ancestor Insecgon.  Despite the name, it also isn't a BUG-type (same with Flygon), but a STEEL-DRAGON type.  This is the final evolved form of the ancestral Trapinch.  And it can't fly like Flygon can, but it still is a fearsome Pokemon; especially since it came from the era of the dinosaur Pokemon.

I promise my other ancestral Pokemon to modern ones are going to be closer & closer to the modern era, but I thought I should use dinosaurs at least once if I am replacing fossils for revival.

If you have any comments you'd like to share about my creation, or want to suggest Pokemon ideas to me or have any requests, please put them down in the comments section below.  Until next time!
