Hey, gang! This time I've got a Pokemon idea for a DLC (downloadable content) area in my (fanfic) game. Meet Mapefall, the drifting autumn Pokemon. It's based on the autumn leaf foliage that occurs in the autumn season.

I know I want it to have an evolutionary line. But I haven't decided whether this should be the starting or final evolved form in that evolutionary line. Which is why I want to ask for you guys' opinion. Maybe bounce back & forth a few ideas?

Anyway, the Fall Island, where Mapefall (maple x fall) comes from is famous for locals & tourists watching the autumn leaves fall off the trees. In fact, a festival is held every autumn on this island where people can sit around & watch the leaves fall off of the trees while picnicking, partying or whatever.

As you can tell from its body type, Mapefall is light & somewhat flat enough to glide on the wind currents around the island. This is how it moves from place to place. It's said to be born in only the autumn & blends in with the falling autumn leaves as it moves around.

The protagonist (player character) will visit this island & find Mapefall in, you guessed it, the fall after the main story.
