Origin: born to Manny and Camila Noceda, Lucas Noceda was born a year after his sister Luz; Lucas was a premature baby at only eight months. Despite this, doctors expected Lucas to make a full recovery. Unfortunately, Lucas's life to a turn due to a doctor delivering a baby to a dysfunctional couple. Due to the doctor drinking on the job, he accidentally killed the baby while delivering it. Fearing the consequence, he swapped Lucas with the baby, convincing Manny, Camila, and the hospital Lucas died, offering to pay for funeral expenses. Lucas was given to a new family, where he retained his first name but was named Lucas Cross; where he was neglected until the age of five when he was abandoned.

After spending weeks on his own, Lucas was found and taken in by an organization called "the Eye or the Titan," or The Eye," for short, who are human sorcerers tasked with protecting the earth from magical threats from other world threats, whose founder met the titan who would one day become the Boiling Isles and was taught how to harness the energy and manipulate it, creating magic. At age seven, Lucas summoned his familiar, in the form of a dark-furred Mountain Lion with a white scar on his chest. His familiar, unknown Lucas is actually his Father, Manny Noceda, who died moments before Lucas summoned him back to the living world as his familiar. Ten years later, Lucas was tasked with guarding and/or sealing a newly opened breach in a town called Gravesfield. Accompanied by Manny, Lucas was given a medallion to sense incoming threats and transform into a suit of armor with a sword and other equipment and two new Aliases to go under 'Lucas Cross" and "The Phantom Knight."
