It seams your Counters Database got corrupted.
Take a look at the following link on the part "Rebuild Counters Database":Β  docs.rainmeter.net/manual/plug…
Maybe it helps, please report back if this was successful or not (I've never seen this issue on any of my PCs).

PS: The Usage Monitor doesn't use HWinfo for showing the values, it uses Performance Counters from native Windows perfmon.exe

Hey,
you can open the Launcher skin (right click a skin and click Gadgets Additions Launcher) and set the style globally for all Gadgets Additions skins to one of the 7 available styles.

If you want to change the style only for the RSS-Reader, then you have to add two lines of code in the Skin file:
Right click the skin an click "Skin File" add the following variables, each one in its own line:

- For Blur:
Style=5
StyleGlassType=Blur

- For Acrylic:
Style=6
StyleGlassType=Acrylic

Both lines have to be added AFTER the last "@ include..." line in the [Variables]-block.

Please try the one from SilverAzide too:

If there's the same problem, maybe your Performance Monitor database got corrupted, then take a look at the Note of the following link:
docs.rainmeter.net/manual/plug…

And if it's working with SilzerAzides Version then please report back so I know I have to take a look at this.

thanks for your reply, it says top GPU Meter requires Windows 10 Fall Creator's UpdateΒ
I'm using windows 8.1

Dudebaker In reply to bobalazs [2019-06-12 19:58:03 +0000 UTC]

Then I'm wondering why it's even working in your version.
I'm writing the same in my description, GPU needs Windows 10.

I'll have to check this in a Win8.1 virtual machine (but that's nothing what has high priority).

bobalazs In reply to Dudebaker [2019-06-12 20:00:38 +0000 UTC]

by default it does not work, however, forΒ

[MeasureGPU1]
Measurelugin
Plugin=UsageMonitor
Alias=GPU
Blacklist=#IgnoreProcesses #
Whitelist=#OnlyProcesses #
Percent=0
MinValue=0.0
MaxValue=100.0
Index=1
Rollup=#GroupProcesses #
Substitute="":"N/A"
Disabled#CountGPU # < 1 ? 1 : 0)

[MeasureGPU1ForScaling]
Measure=Calc
Formula=MeasureGPU1
Disabled#CountGPU # < 1 ? 1 : 0)

i modified the line toΒ
Alias=GPU1

andΒ  Alias GPU2 and gpu3 and so on
and then it actually shows values, but theyre oddly not based on 100% but some other values as you can seeΒ i.imgur.com/lRQRcY0.png

These aliases (GPU1, GPU2, ...) are not documented:
docs.rainmeter.net/manual/plug…

I don't know what values you're getting by using such aliases.
Maybe it's using some fallback but who knows...

bobalazs In reply to Dudebaker [2019-06-13 00:25:36 +0000 UTC]

could it be from msi afterburner?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dudebaker In reply to bobalazs [2019-06-13 07:55:34 +0000 UTC]

For sure not - if you followed my link you would see that this usagemonitor plugin has nothing todo with the afterburner (you would need another plugin for msi, but even this plugin cannot show you app based usages).

Only Windows 10 can show you a app based gpu usage because it has performance monitor counter for GPU.

The fallback has to be a performance monitor counter, maybe CPU.

I cannot help you here - install win10 if you need this feature.

bobalazs In reply to Dudebaker [2019-06-16 18:23:49 +0000 UTC]

I think you are definitely right, it gets a feedback from the cpu meter. I will remove that then. I tried it on w10 and it works wonderfully. Ty, I appreciate your work sir.

Hello,

I can't get the RSS reader to work with reddit or npr.Β  Is there a setting I'm overlooking? It works fine with BBC though.Β  Thanks.Β

Dudebaker In reply to TarlC1 [2019-05-29 17:09:20 +0000 UTC]

Hey,
I've tested both and you're right, these feeds do not work with my regex no matter what you enter in the settings.
In the next version I'll take care of it. Maybe with a second skin or with another way of getting each single feed data piece.
With some luck it should be ready this weekend.

Thanks for the response. It took a little (actually a lot) of reading on my part but it has something to do with the shift away from RSS to Atom. I've been usingΒ LimeyCanuck 's rss reader for now but even his has a few quirks that are off. And sadly it looks like he has fell off and no longer supports it.Β

Hi! I just started to use rainmeter to monitor everything on my PC and this gadget collection is great!

I wanted to ask two improvement to the player gadgets:

1) It' possible to have cover and media control on the same gadget? I would love to have the cover gadget with 2/3 rows under it for title, author and album. And when I move my mouse over the cover it make appear the media buttons

2) It's possible to have one gadget for more players depending on what I'm using? For example: I have both Musicbee and Spotify on my computer. I would like to have a unique gadget that will display spotify or MB songs depending on what is currently playing.

P.S. Also I'm glad you put your code on github! I think that this kind of things should always be open source!
