Issue 1, Page 11Airbrush & gouache on Illustration board
It's a shame Millennium Comics bit the dust before we were able to finish the graphic novel version of The Witching Hour. Judging by the response we got, TWH was doing better than most of their product, but it wasn't enough to carry the company by itself, and it died at issue 6, about half way through.
On Pages 11-12 of the first issue, we meet the male protagonist, Michael Curry. Michael's a bit screwed up, thanks to his psychometric powers, and as we encounter him, he's spending most of his time staying drunk (which blunts the psychic impressions), smoking and watching old videos. He's also trying to figure out the meaning of a near death exprience he's had, which is why the copy of Moody & Kubler-Ross' Life After Life is open on the table.
