I wonder would this have been the situation if the mad hatter had gone awry and .. made a mess of the Alice situation?

i'm sure it would have been, poor unfortunate alice

TascaFordGirl In reply to duncantje [2013-08-13 01:07:08 +0000 UTC]
But that would be an interesting wonderland indeed.. alice did after all stumble upon another world, no one said the enchanting creatures there were all endearing..

I suppose I might =] Haha oh dear... If I were a better artist I would draw, but my talents lie in my writing, I did love to see your photography and how inspiring it was as that.. I have a wonderful vision of an estranged wonderland. do you know the original reason of why lewis carol wrote the story?

duncantje In reply to TascaFordGirl [2013-08-13 14:26:23 +0000 UTC]
i believe he wrote it for alice, but i could be wrong
π: 0 β©: 1
TascaFordGirl In reply to duncantje [2013-08-13 22:22:05 +0000 UTC]
You are right. but he wrote it because he had an interest in alice... like creepy interest. he created a fantasy world for her, with the help of his opium dreams.. and in the end created a timeless world. That many of us still look at with adoration.. I can still recite the jabberwocky

and isn't opium and Β having a creepy intrest in children the true meaning of christmas

It sure seems toΒ be back in the day... I suppose maybe it would have been better if we didn't find about things about people who are revered so highly. Think of Poe, always at a lost for Lenore, another attic, alas. But none could have a more potent tale. truly not.
Β
Oh, well that certainly adds a large deal of class to any wall

duncantje In reply to TascaFordGirl [2013-08-14 16:31:16 +0000 UTC]
poe was just drunk all the time, theres nothing wrong with that it does make him as a person more interestingΒ

TascaFordGirl In reply to duncantje [2013-08-14 23:53:59 +0000 UTC]
It certainly did. Do you have a favorite of the dark artist?

i think i have to go for edgar allan poe, most of my room is inspired by his stories. i even have a raven above my door on a headΒ

I must agree. He is certainly the best... although I enjoy the occasional HG Wells story...

i have to admit that i didn't read that much of him. so i can't really judge

TascaFordGirl In reply to duncantje [2013-08-18 01:18:28 +0000 UTC]
I only have two stories I prefer by him. I spent most of my time reading poe. When I was 12 I bought my first book of his works, I read the whole thing over and over until the binding fell off and the pages.. were beginning to come unglued.
