Yay, another DBZ OC!

Ambien is the older brother of Calypso, indeed a half Saiyan. However, he took a much different route than his sister; he prefers studying and academia over fighting!

His child version (from his homeworld) is on the left, and the most current appearance on the right. Unlike Caly, he inherited his mother's Saiyan features!

A little backstory about him:

When the Duzai planet was invaded, their father (Named Klasik who will get a post soon...) helped Ambien steal an escape pod to leave the planet safely, much against the will of the 12-year-old (Caly was about 10, for reference.) However, the pod left as soon as it closed, and Ambien quickly went into stasis seeing as he'd been injured.

Their parents did not survive the planet's invasion, but Ambien did land safely on the planet Earth and was taken in by a childless couple who had prayed many times to have a child of their own! (Superman vibes, yeah?)

He quickly learned that the Earth had full moons monthly (his home planet was only once a year) and made the conscious choice to remove his tail, seeing as he also wanted to fit in and not rampage in his Ape form.

Quickly, he excelled in school and attended college at 16, eventually accepting a job as a scientist at Capsule Corporation. He works there to this day and loves his job!

Calypso cares very much about her older brother, to the point that she immediately sensed him upon arriving to earth with Vegeta and Nappa. Thinking he'd died, she abandoned the Saiyan effort (nearly causing her own death for "betrayal") to find him.

It didn't take long for her to fall in love with the small planet and ground herself, seeing as she'd let herself go wild the past years with other Saiyans like her.

Ambien doesn't feel as if he's much help to the Z Fighters cause, but is willing to do what he can, especially to protect the last family member he has.

He's not currently interested in anyone or romance, maybe in the future!
