I've been expelled from my dream
someone opened the curtain
and the puppets were talking nonsense
The background was empty
and the music was sung out of key

I've been thrown away
to the wrong place
like a banana shell
into the envelopments bean

I've been peeled
layer by layer,
left uncovered
to watch my own kernel
being disposed

I've been dismissed
like the last leave
of a dying tree
and my vessel holds
nothing but futility.

I've been disrupted
lost my entropy
like a pool on the first
day of summer
by the first kid
to dive in.

I've been knocked down
and the floor is not smooth
and my back finds no leaves
but sharpened spines
hammering deep into my skin

I am no one
and I HAVE NO ONE to dream about.
