Going from my early Frappuccino artwork to this gave me some major whiplash, to be perfectly honest. It's like my artistic skills just woke up here and all came together for this drawing. So this is Latte's first real redesign, and while he's had a few changes since this, this is pretty much the look he's got currently too. For the outfit, I kinda just stole elements from other characters that I liked. Michiru's sweater (which he still wears to this day, maybe I should change that so I don't get in trouble), Ash's Sinnoh shirt, Simon's drill necklace, and Goh's shoes. I was literally just throwing things against the wall to see what would stick here, and I'm honestly surprised it turned out as well as it did. The head and face here may very well be one of my best head drawings for Latte to this day, to the point that I still use it as my pfp for my YouTube videos (that I don't have, lmao).

Now, if you're wondering about the giant red star behind him, that's a reference to the name of the group that he helps create: The Scarlet Stars. This group consists of him and the other five main characters of Rise of the Phoenix, four of which already have art up on this site.
