My third try at a pano is a success. I wasn't having much luck with wider lenses, so I thought I'd try a mild telephoto. Basically this is 6 images stitched into one. The original, un-resized image was over 100 megapixels, cropped down to 74 megapixels, and resized at 50% back to 18MP, which is about the resolution of the sensor. So, why would one do this? Quality. Check this badboy out at 100% and see how effing sharp it is. I hope to speed up my pano taking process enough so I can use it to create ultra-high resolution prints of people and landscapes. Obviously, my bookshelf isn't the most artistic subject available.
