Description
Chasing the Sun is a fan-project that takes place before the events of Avatar: the Last Airbender. It's a darker story about human trafficking and the world of assassination during a time of warThis is a set of character studies, both of default outfits and body types/diversity.
I apologize for semi-nudity, but I don't really think it needs a mature filter
There's no comic (yet), we're just in the for-fun conceptualizing phase and will be for a while

This is my character, Kye.
A mysterious one-armed, earth-bending assassin, Kye is serious and focused to a fault.
Her body is solid and athletic, trained to be agile and flexible for her missions.

I really impressed with the diversity of the characters this project has so far. There's great personality in the designs but the small little blurbs you offer of them are all so varied and distinct from each other. Pretty damn inspirational. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more.

I think the main thing I love about all of your character concepts are that they aren't all the same body type. They range from short, tall, husky, bulky, thin, etc. The details with design and color coordination is great and your expressions and body language bring these characters to life.
I remember the past sketches I've seen of Kye and this one by far is my favorite. Especially her eyes. The details over all are simple, but still give a very good indication of who she is. I also love your Rilu sketch, again the fact that she's not pencil thin and with size DDD boobs, but actually looks like a real woman that has no problem kicking butt or stealing the clothes off your back while giving you a smart ass remark. Great work as always.

This is definitely my favorite drawing of Kye thus far too-- I actually used to have trouble with her because I hadn't settled on any big defining features of her face. Adding in the scary eyes helped so much more than I thought they would.
And yes Rilu- me and Bee both love how she got steadily bigger and bigger
