So I've been playing around with hard surface techniques, finally managing to get to grips with HardOps for Blender, a tool specifically tailored to this type of work.This was a 2.30Hr render on a already part-loaded Nvidia 970, Blender Cycles @ 128 samples.
I figure I've learned a lot in this small exercise and will continue using HardOps and hard surfacing techniques, hopefully will be doing a re topology of one soon too.
