Thanks to for helping me give one of my many OCs a design. Unlike the previously recent 3 as of the time of this post, this character is actually based off of something pre-existing, which made him easier to design. As you can tell, yes, this is a Symbiote OC. Sym here is probably one of the oldest OCs I have had w/o a design, spanning back to around 2012/2013. This turned out really well done and great, so thanks to my friend from before for doing such an amazing job w/ the design & colors.

Sym, as named by its allies at the time, the Nightmarians, is an underdeveloped spawn from its father, Danny, since it was forcefully extracted from him during his experimentation to turn him into a controlled weapon. Though that failed and he escaped, Sym was kept with the Nightmarians and was tasked to crush, kill, and destroy any opposition. However, unlike its father who was genetically modified during experimentation, due to being underdeveloped, Sym was unable to be modified in the same way. It has no host or partner either, jumping between hosts and taking them over to suit its needs. Able to do most other abilities of its race, Sym would be going against its father and his team, the Imaginarians, multiple times. Though during these encounters, Danny refused to fight as a Symbiote himself, as if he feared using the form. During one fight however, Sym asexually reproduced a spawn of its own, named Reaper, making them a deadly duo in the fights to come. But over time, it started to see and be convinced by its father of the wrong it was doing, eventually joining over to his side. However, Reaper was not, believing that the Symbiotes' true nature to destroy and corrupt while Sym believes that the Symbiotes could be protectors, essentially challenging each other's beliefs. Later, it would be Sym's duty to help and teach his father to control his urges and instincts as a Symbiote, especially when Danny was trapped in the form and paired up with a certain girl...
