Chapter 1

Spring Breeze

I was walking on my familiar path when I saw a Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo fighting over a haunch of meat. The Waddle Dee quickly yanked the meat away and ran almost as fast as a Wheelie Rider. I then asked "Why did you make such a ruckus over that meat anyway?" He replied "Somebody's stolen all the food from Dreamland, everyone's fighting starvation." He then wobbled off, exhausted from the struggle and hunger. I thought to myself "It must be that King Dedede up to no good... again!" "I have to save Dreamland!" I exclaimed.

I quickly hopped onto my Warp Star and started my search in the vast forest known as Green Greens. The first enemy I seen was a Waddle Doo, yet he wasn't attacking me. I wondered "Whats up with this guy, I thought Waddle Doos work for King Dedede." He started talking, "Who are you?" I replied "I'm Kirby, and I'm trying to return the stolen food to Dreamland." He then said "Where is this, Dreamland?" I thought to myself "Is this guy stupid or something?" "We're in Dreamland right now, dummy." "Oh, I'm sorry, I just woke up from a nap and I can't remember a thing." I then said "Well, um, ok... bye." I walked off on the search for King Dedede, but I turned around and he was was "Stealthily" following me through the bushes. I stopped to ask him what he was doing. I asked impatiently "Why are you following me?" He replied sadly"I - I don't know where I am... I'm scared and lonely." As he said that phrase I thought "Wait a minute," "This guy looks familiar."
