- The two pirates walked along water on the island. It was clear that the ship wasn’t coming back for Sage any time soon. Dread turned to the bear. “Why did ye jump off the ship and after me?” He asked, “Ye could’ve had the whole ship to yerself.” Sage smiled, “You rescued me, and I’ve been meaning to pay you back. But….it’s a bit deeper than that.” Dread cocked his head, “Whatcha mean, lass?” Sage looked down at their feet, “If I betray you, I betray myself. If I betray the crew, I lose the family I found. And they’re very dear to me…” “Dearer than…I?” Dread asked. Sage shook her head and took his hand, “No, no not dearer than you. You’re one of the dearest things I have in my life….I didn’t want to lose you. I’d rather lose them than my boyfriend.” Dread smiled, and they continued to walk. -

So this is for a TikTok/Instagram Reel I’m gonna do tomorrow, but I just wanted to show off how well I drew Sage and Dread’s hands! And yes, I’m going to refer to the different AU variants of these two by their descriptors/titles.
