I was bored and asked my friends on discord for some stuff to draw to practice, so I drew Basil from Omori. I drew him as a pokemon trainer and gave him shaymin as his pokemon. I tried to have him hold shaymin like misty holds toggepi but the anatomy is just kinda off.

I was mostly using this as an attempt to practice shading, but I see I need tp practice more poses, anatomy and backgrounds. tbh I got lazy near the end and decided to just slap some flowers down for a background. my quality definitely varies greatly between projects but I wanted to get this done quickly since its been 3 days since I said I'd draw Basil.

I don't do anything quickly 😅 if I had about a week or so it'd probably look a bit better. This will be another piece I revisit.
