Btw.I'm doing most of it on a 1996 compaq evo, single core with 256 Mbram. Looks good. Boots up at 23 Mb ram.

The wallpaper's probably from 4walled orwallbase. You could try running it trhrough tineye.
That screenie was slitaz 3.0.
I'm working on a custom 4.0 iso. It'll have pretty much the same setup. Thunar, mirage,tint2, nitrogen, fbpanel......
I had to do some deb>tazpkg converting though. This converting has a 90% succeed percentage, so..
I'll post some shortly.

Did you use the included repos for that? I haven't really been able to figure out how to customize this distro, but it's the only one that completely resurrected my own super old (2002) compaq. Great desktop btw!
