After several months of using Rainmeter, I finally got something that looks better than the Windows 10 desktop...My List of active skins (full credit to the original developers):

I'm not sure how well it shows up in this screenshot, but there's also a Spectrum Analyzer in the bottom left that I came up with on my own, and the player on the right side below the Enigma Notes is the Sidebar Player Windows Gadget that I managed to get working in Win10.

I finally managed to come up with my first "from scratch" skin and got it posted to Deviantart (that was a learning experience to be sure :/ )

Keeping up to date...
In fiddling around with menus and docks, I 've learned that I can create custom menus for just about any purpose. Therefore, I'm now working on a complete suite of skins to reflect this.
I'll post this suite when I finish it.

finally managed to figure out how to show the Dock Menu vertically instead of horizontally; now to get the colors right and it will be good.

just an update...
I decided I wanted more out of the Dock Menu, so I started fiddling with it. I've managed to get it to 10 slots wide so far but not all of them work (yet).
All of this has me becoming a real fan of the work that Kaeli did on the original Enigma package, so all credit to this programmer!
