Decided to post these concepts of Time Guardian Laniakea I had stored in the back of my mind for over 4 years now.
I think it's right about time to unravel something about Lan and her backstory. Sadly it is too large, so I'll probably link it somewhere into the pastebin or idk, I need to think it out more.
All you need to know for now is, Lan opens wormholes at the tip of her hooves.

Aftermath:
Laniakea was gifted a special pteranodon-like horn and pterosaur wings after she helped Celestia and Luna with saving Canterlot from evil powers by using her reality breaks. Her hooves got very damaged and scratched, so she could not use them properly anymore. After a long healing process, Discord has suggested if Lan can reign side by side with other princesses. She politely declined and rather accepted her position as a loyal guard of time, space and natural laws. After all those events, she disappeared from Canterlot and her current whereabouts are unknown. It is speculated that she resides in another dimension.

No, she is not a Mary Sue. She's not immortal and does not have any superpowers.
Also she's not classified as a true alicorn, as the horn is only able to open wormholes as a replacement for her hooves.
