My contribution to the brilliant idea of the week-long celebration of RARILIGHT Awwwwwww yiss. It’s called @rarilightbomb ! c: I decided to do a mashup of Days 1 and 2 since I missed them initially: Day one was first meeting and day two was species swap. I chose a mermaid for this one because MerMay! c:
Rarity’s heard of the legend of the mermare who can be drawn out with books but she’s never actually believed it was a thing... well. Until she decides to have a read on the dock one fine and warm morning, and is suddenly pushed back when a mass shoots out of the water for her book. Time freezes, though, when the mermare takes notice of who is holding the book, and Rarity finds all of that focus for the book turned toward her. And that’s how she finds out the nerd mermare was real! O:
I originally was gonna go with a more familiar approach with one a pirate and the other a mermaid, but ultimately decided against it. I thought a mermaid being drawn to the surface with books was cute. x3
