Description
This is just a colorized and fully weaponized version of the other piece. I really wanted to push the "living battleship" concept as far as I can with this character so I added a bunch of new weapons. I drew inspirations from all Mechagodzillas; showa, heisei, kiryu, anime MG, etc. The hover fins/wings are not built for fast aerial movements as it is for transportation as oppose to using helicopters. Its tail is an add-on scifi type tank with a spike that also shoots electricity(hopefully to paralyze Godzilla). The three crest on its head was directly inspired by Kiryu's(The idea is that they sync all the weapons easier). There are two shoulder cannons on each side that shoots different munition. Its right shoulder cannon is actually a slightly altered MG head from the anime. I also added missiles packs on its shoulders with various explosive types. Then I added high caliber machine guns on its forearms for more direct combat. I think I may have over did it with this one, but I like how it turned out. This is just my interpretation of a more modern Mechagodzilla. ***Sorry for the slow uploads lately. I have some personal problems to deal with. I'll start accepting commissions asap. Truth be told, I kind of miss the original take on Mechagodzilla, where he was a bad guy and created by aliens.Β All other versions of him afterwards have been manmade and been portrayed as the one we're supposed to be rooting for.
Although, in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II, I found most of the characters to be so unlikeable that I just wound up rooting for Godzilla anyway.

Me too, but like a previous comment, Gigan already sort of represents the whole cyborg Kaiju created by aliens, so maybe being created by humans would differiante them a bit more.Β

I can see that.Β I guess it depends on what you prefer and what you're okay with.Β Even if Mechagodzilla was manmade, I think there'd still be ways to work in him being a bad guy and give us a narrative reason to root for Godzilla in the fight.

Kiryu was the skeleton of the original Godzilla they had killed shortly after the first atomic bomb explosion which allowed godzilla cells to enter our world through a wormhole due to mega ton explosion. The Mech created from that skeleton was Internal parts to a computer specifically designed to connect to the nucleus of that skeleton and create a Bio-Computerized consciousness. Enter Kiryu. Which is why the thing went haywire for a sec re-awakening Jr who left shortly after Kiryu was able to communicate with.Β
What you got here and what they done with Kiryu is what aliens did with Gigan. Gigan was a monster. And just like Godzilla it terrorized they're civilizations. They couldn't defeat it so they turned it into a weapon using technology close to that of Kiryus. They knew if monsters existed like the one they dealt with they must be in space to. So they needed a monster they could use in space travel. that was Gigan for them.

This is an awesome design - I think you got the menace in the face perfect, as a lot of MechaG designs miss the terror that the first one invoked. Great work

And now it looks EVEN BETTER! Well done you; the "living battleship" look really comes across completely. Probably one of, if not THE most imposing looks for Mechagodzilla i've seen in quite a while.
