this took way longer than i thought...no matter what i did, something always prevented me from working on this for more than, like, maybe 20 minutes at a time, and by the time i was done, i was pretty sick of it. i like how it turned out though, it was lots of fun to play with my paints and my pencils together.this is a merino ewe, by the way. she was very still and cooperative for the reference photo i took of her, so she was nice to work with...and fluffy..i got to pet her a bit.

that wool was such a jerk! i was so sick of it by the time i was done..thank you very much! i'm doing a lincoln sheep next, which has really wiry curly wool, so i'm not done battling with it yet....*shudder*
