i have been an art rut lately. this is only the second cover i've done in prob a month or two. and thats not much for me, as thats all i normally do. i did this one in one sitting.. as soon as my pencil touched the paper, mojo was oozing out all over the place. i tried something different this time. i have specific technique when i draw certain things and i chose to be a lil ballszy and played with the style of face i drew. the close observer could see that almost everything on the face is different. than my normal stuff. and needless to say this was prob the easiest face i've draw in a long time, no mistakes and no erasing. and those that keep up with my gallery know that i always say how much i hate drawing faces. so this was fun for me from top to bottom. nothing was really hard on this one, but after i scanned it and saw it shrunked down, i realized that i drew her ass to big, so i had to redraw it and scan it again...some might think its still too big...oh well.im a big fan of disneys pirates trilogy, so i pulled a lot of inspiration from there, i awlays say it pays to use reference.

Hey Eric!,
pretty nice pic there. I really like the face she has. She's got this sweet innocent look to her, and even though she's got a bomb in her hand, you don't really care what she's going to do with it.
I noticed that her ass seemed big before you mentioned something about it and didn't really think to hardly on it before then. The only question I have about it, is what is she sitting on? it's it something that's curved to conform to her thigh?
It kind of looks like she's got thinner thighs, but then her buttcheek turned nito a waterballoon before coming back up to form a delicious looking backside.
Anyways man, shes a really nice piece though. BTW, why in such a rut??

that owuld be nice, but there are so many ppl out there ripping other art off and claming it as thier own..but, somehow some ppl are able to color and ink some stuff i post. so give it a try

Oh, just an observation: There's a knife stuck in the back, the one that's right down the bomb's fire? It doesn't look good, compared to the amazing detail on the character.

got me!!?? i normally spend the most time on the face, cause im so bad at doing it. i hate drawing faces. not only do i erase a lot, but i have to bring out the ELECTRICAL" eraser...but i guess i got lucky this time.

The Detail is astounding man, love how there is so much in the frame with out it becoming overwhelming. That is not easy to do by any means and you pulled it off really well. Here face looks great and yeah it is a little different from your other work, what exactly did you do differently?
