there are pros and cons to this year, artistically. i developed a nice understanding of digital painting (finally) and ive come a long way with my 3d work. however, making art is Really hard now, and ive rarely done it in the last few months

not trying to sound dramatic, but 2019 was my worst year. i had to deal with a lot of very real and complicated problems in my personal life, and those problems totally drained me. the second half of the year, i struggled a lot with fatigue and depression. ive been on hiatus since my mother passed away about a month ago, and im still technically on hiatus until i come out this ditch im in. its really hard for me to be creative and physically produce art, but im working on getting back on track. the problems i mentioned previously have actually been something ive been dealing with since may 2018, and it has been whittling away at me, and these last couples of months theyve really pulled the rug out beneath me. my mothers death was also related to the situation, which was the last straw when it came to having energy or motivation

trying to keep a positive outlook for 2020 and the new decade. i dont have any words or wisdom or anything, but as long as you survive, youre doing Enough
