I'm so sick of this image. Probably some time in the distant future I'll redo this so it doesn't look like ass. I started this way back in May, and never really worked on it except for random short moments when I felt like it.I got so sick of this image I just decided to bang up some crap so I could let myself know that it's 'done'.
The wall looks like ass, and the background is even worse. The background is a picture of WWII era Dresden... The redeeming parts of the picture are the parts I actually drew by hand, and the star field. (which was fun to make.)
I kinda realized that I really have to draw the entire image by hand, not just the main focus of it and use PS for the rest. This image, among some others that I've had stored on my hard drive are like that... Partial images that I never drew background for. Thusly, any of the ones I've added a background to, (like this one.) look bad.
I'm entirely unhappy with the outcome of this image, but I do not want to work on it any more at all. Thusly, here's the end result.

That actually doesn't look as bad as you think, bro. The wall looks pretty good, and his pose and general expression are wicked. They really fit the scene

Wow, I really like this, the whole image the mood and everything. The coloring is great too, and so is the background! (especially the stars) I like how you made the stars sparkle!I don't think its as bad as you think it is. This picture captures alot of emotion (especially for me, since I am a military person), I really love this, his pose, expression everything. The background of the ruins also really enchance the mood. It looks like you spent some time on it as well, the rocks and the messed up wall look nice ^_^
Did I mention that his hair rocks! ^--^
