Description
Created in Muro with mainly the nightmare brush (amazingly and with a only a mouse!) and then taken to photoshop for some enhancements. Started out as a half hearted doodle but turned into something interesting. I'll let you tell me what this piece means as you are drawn into her eyes. I think the best part of this muro sketch is her eyebrows, the nightmare brush is awesome for making eyes and brows, other hairy things...not so much. But I think a technique is slowly being developed to make nice hair with the nightmare brush. We'll see...

I wish there was a way to revisit images in Muro. Oekaki has it so why not muro? I mean if you're going to rip off that concept why stop short? That is my biggest peeve right now about this program.

Btw, it was I who suggested we have an on-site drawing program like Oekaki, I was even going to start a deviantART oekaki board at one point. But everyone booed me off the stage years ago with that idea. Now look...

I'm not amused one bit. But hey I will admit it does have some nifty features Oekaki doesn't, -some- is the key word though. Extra brushes are nice but we need saves, revisit, and canvas size options available. Those are some things that Oekaki still has over Muro for the time being.

I'm sorry but there is a long time oekaki veteran on the soap box here.

Oh and this is for my fiance, who is a 40k fan. I do mean to one day draw him as a marine as he's always wanted, I'm just not that fantastic at doing armor illustrations. Always been a minimalist concept artist. But I suppose it's time to break out of that shell. We'll see...

This makes a fantastic wallpaper. I hope the personal mug I ordered (sans fleur de lis) for myself also looks cool.
