This is an oil painting I made from photographs taken while driving around DeKalb County, IL. Throughout my drive, there seemed to be countless, winding roads leading nowhere and many small pockets of civilization.Related content

I really love your style. There's something almost psychedelic about it, but there's still a touch of realism that really grabs your attention. I like the contrast of the warm glow from inside the buildings with the coldness of the outside.

Its amazing all the patterns you have instilled in this piece. It has so much movement and flow either into the forest or into the houses. Like there is only two roads that of civilization or that of wild.
