Alright, I am rather proud of this one at the moment because it's taken all day *laughs*.Drawn by fingertip {ahahahaha that was so fun; NOT xD} in Manga Studio {what I would give for a graphics tablet *___*}
Coloured in GIMP by fingertip via my laptop touchpad {I have way too much patience xD}.

Yes, I don't think we do get enough appreciation because it is time consuming, difficult and incredibly frustrating. I think everyone should try doing what we do and see just how hard it is. Maybe then they'd be more appreciative.

Yeah it annoys me when people like ourselves are compared to those, who have better tools and programs but oh well.
As for Pain, why don't you download GIMP? It's like a free Photoshop and that's what I use

Well lol honestly? I tried Photoshop ages ago on the house computer and I work now with GIMP on my laptop. GIMP does take a little bit to get used to but tutorials are helpful. Photoshop hates me - I couldn't figure it out and when I asked my brother in law to teach me a crash course, I didn't understand any of it. People say that Photoshop is awesome but I really don't think so lol. I can use GIMP, whereas I suck at PS.
