Characteristics: Human in appearance with a silver (western pure beast) or red (eastern pure beast) 'mark' somewhere on their body.

Details: Although Slayers are not classified as "true demons" they are the byproduct of a human fighting off an infection by one of the Pure Beasts. Besides being able to fight off being turned into a demon the infection also heightens their senses and gives them supernatural strength as well as a few magic abilities that, although considered weak and "low ranking" to demons, help them fight against demons. These abilities will be in the Weapon Catalog listed under Spells. The silver or red mark appears on their body in place of where the infection started - aka where the Pure Beast had marked them. Because of their abilities to fight off demons an organization was formed centuries ago by Brutus Connors which he appropriately named Hunters. The name was changed to Slayers back in the 1920s when the organization extended their operations globally.
