Give me a moment to collect my thoughts,and by a moment I mean four years.
My life has been all sub-plots
peppered with petty dramas and tears.
Although the weeks barely creaked by on time
I don't think I had a minute to rest.
Some days I remember as sublime
but the others were just a fight to be best.
I swear I thought of you on occasion
and wished we could talk like we used to -
with words full of art and persuasion.
A moment. Four years. But that much is true.
