Description The arga is a medium sized, brightly colored bee which primarily feeds on the pollen and nectar of the highland argan blossom of frijol isle. It's hummingbird-like wings allow it to move quickly from flower to flower, and its fluffy fur keeps it insulated in the chillier air. They are more likely to move during the day when it is a bit warmer, retreating to their tree hives during the night to huddle together and keep toasty. during the day, they navigate by use of an internal mental map to find each flower. Argas have wide territories surrounding their hive, meaning they are not very common to find. Oftentimes, they are outcompeted with and bullied by domas. In winter when blossoms of the nyoia are a bit less bountiful, they rely more on weevils for sustenance, which are flightless and fairly defenseless. Weevils are killed with a light tap of their ovipositor to inject a potent incapacitating venom. The arga does not die when it stings. When it is hunted by a lesser ghamele, it has to be snapped up quickly before it stings the chameleon in defense.
