I agree that Sam isn't my favorite choice for a hetero pairing in the DP universe, but I suppose I tolerate it. I also agree that Sam is much too clingy and over-emotional. Did you see Phantom Planet? How easily she was able to ignore Danny, because of the fact that he didn't want to cause further harm to himself or others he cares about? I think her affection for him lays only in his supernatural abilities, to be frank.
