Description
In a cavern filled with iciclesAnd dripping stalactites
Where glass flashes
Water splashes
'mongst the twinkling llittle lights
I found a maiden
Resting her sweet head
She'd come across
Some hill o'er yonder
To rest weary in this bed
Of smooth, dark, glossy stone
And rivulets of ice
Has she wandered long?
I wondered
Will this resting place suffice?
Nevermind, nevermind...
Take her in your arms.
Oh,
What an icy ache!
Her body gives me qualms.
How can she still
Live, breathe?
How is her heart still beating?
A frightening thought
That one so small
has such strong will for living.
'Tis true
The air in here is taut
Like sheets of ice itself.
Seems like it is
Quite ready to snap
And shatter, shelf to shelf
Oh,
How my fingers tingle
How my breath does cloud.
How my hair
And tiny icicles mingle
Beneath this woolen shroud
She's heavy
Here, within my arms
She breathes a wreath of frost
It's like she's made
Of ice herself
What will this rescue cost?
Ice inside
How is she alive
She's stone cold, rock hard as well
But still she breathes
Still, heart beats
Her bosom gently swells
The twinkling ice lights around
Do dot and spark the night
Flashes of veridian
Amidst the obsidian
Oh,
How my breath does figh
Wherefore the exit?
I'm sure 'twas here
A wall again, but all the same...
This shelf does look so teasing...
A bed! Lie down,
Don't stop breathing.
