Description

For the first five years of the Transformers Collector's Club, members received a free toy in the mail as incentive to continue their membership. Each part would make up a combiner, Nexus Prime (initially Nexus Maximus, but later renamed after it was revealed that the name was being used with a sex toy). Heatwave here was the fifth and final component.

Now, I enjoyed the core guys from the Energon combiners, but I thought they had one flaw. No weapons. So, I've decided to fix that problem. Heatwave here is sporting a weapon I bought from Shapeways, designed by and listed below.

I gave it a base coat of Testors Semi-Gloss Primer spray paint, then hand-painted it with Testors Model Master Acrylic Cobalt Blue brushpaint, with either Guards Red or Fire Engine Red used for the missiles, and then a coat of Testors Semi-Gloss clear coat.
