ever since Nightmare's defeat by the hands of Kirby, the Elemental Wisp Leaders including Mother Elemental Wisp Titania decided to band together at the Fountain at Dreams to create the Council of Elemental Wisps to guard the Star rod with their power. plus, ever since the incident with Marx, they'll only allow worthy fighters to seek the power of the stars called Sparkling Stars. those foolish to grab it for themselves will be met face to face with the Sparkling Star's guardian, varying on the planet.

about Elemental Wisp leaders:

these Wisps may be wise, but they are just as friendly as the other Elemental Wisps. you can differ from normal Elemental Wisps by noticing they are larger and have a floating symbol on the tip of their heads. they reside at the Fountain of Dreams to survey their home planets and guard the Star Rod, forming the Elemental Wisp Council. the leaders are as follows:

Sonata (female; name origin unknown), the leader of the Nature Elemental Wisps of Planet Floria

Oceanika (female) the leader of the Water Elemental Wisps of Planet Aquarius

Kori (female; based on the Japanese word for ice), the leader of the Ice Elemental Wisps of Planet Glacius
