Description

blurb: Nikki fights a sorceress named Greta with the powers of time. Nikki was able to beat her, but winds up caught in the time ripple. a few days later, everyone is sad about Nikki's dissapearance. as Platinum goes on a solo request, she finds a strange baby puffball in a mafia's headquarters. as Platinum takes the baby to Cappy Town, she fosters it, wondering if the baby has parents that might be looking for it. Gold realizes that there is something familiar about the baby. however, things get worse as Greta comes back to take revenge on Nikki, who doesn't realize there's something missing about her.

Part 1: becoming lost in time
the story does not start off on a peaceful day as Nikki fights off a sorceress named Greta who attacked Cappy Town out of the blue. Greta is a formidable opponent as she has the powers of time. however, Greta thinks Nikki is just as powerful as she is. Greta soon decides to go back in time to prevent Nikki from obtaining her powerful Golden Light magic as she makes a time ripple. horrified by Greta's evil plan, Nikki pounces on Greta as the two both enter the time ripple. Brandon tries to fly after them, but the time ripple closes before he could fly in. this made everyone shocked, especially Brandon and Luna. it would appear that Nikki sacrificed herself in order to protect the past. Brandon wants to learn if there is a way to bring Nikki back. but Gold tells Brandon time magic is scarce in Popstar.

Part 2: the missing princess
3 days after the incident, everyone is still sad that Princess Nikki is gone. Brandon is so sad that his wife is gone that he doesn't have the motivation to do his royal duties. despite all this, the guild member still go out to do their work. Platinum picks a request to do a request for the day. the request she selected is to infiltrate a gang's hideout and report what she finds, usually treasure or other things the gang has stolen. as Platinum flies off to go to her request, Gold wonders what could've happened to Nikki, there's no telling what happened or where she ended up. a possible outcome could be is that Nikki ended up in a timeline or something else. all Gold can do now is hope that Nikki is safe, no matter where she ended up.

Part 3: Platinum and the baby
as Platinum enters a gang's hideout, she sneaks around to avoid detection, she hears what sounds like a baby crying for attention. Platinum finds the source of the cry coming from a room with a rocking bed. Platinum pulls off the bed's blankets, revealing to be a yellow Puffball baby with orange blushes swaddled in a white blanket. the baby puffball open's it's eyes to reveal it has blue eyes. Platinum finds something familiar about the baby, but dismisses it. Platinum leaves to investigate the rest of the hideout, but the baby starts crying, making Platinum pause. after thinking about it, Platinum decides she better take the baby to Cappy Town so the baby won't be raised into a life of crime. Platinum uses the bed's blankets to make a bindle to carry the baby in so she can carry the baby as she flies. once Platinum flies out of the hideout with the baby, a mysterious figure watches them leave.

Part 4: taking care of the baby
as Platinum returns to Cappy Town, she informs the client that there was nothing much except for the baby she found. the client found the request successful regardless and gives her the reward. when Platinum takes the baby to her house, her friends come in to see the baby she rescued. they also offer to help Platinum. for some reason, the baby didn't cry when it was around our heroes, which they find it odd. after showing the baby to Brandon and Luna, our heroes offer Brandon to help out taking care of the baby. Brandon agrees and asks to hold. once Platinum temporarily gives the baby to Brandon for him to hold it, the baby stares into Brandon's eyes and hugs him. our heroes don't understand why the baby is behaving this way, making Luna guess the baby has a gift to know who is good. Envy suggests naming the baby Dandelion, but everyone is unsure if the name fits.

Part 5: accelerated growth
later, with the baby sound asleep, everyone still can't get over the loss of their beloved princess. as our heroes are talking about how they are evern going to move past the loss of their princess, they hear an intruder followed by giigling in the kitchen. our heroes investigate to find the baby, walking on it's feet. but not only that, but the baby also has a small pair of golden wings. everyone has their eyes wide as sausers and their mouth gaping open that the baby would be up already. Amethsyt notes that a baby takes 8 months (the same as a human) until it can walk on it's feet. the baby also seems intellegent enought knock over a jar of cookies onto the the floor and eat some, revealing she has already growing teeth. curious what is wrong with the baby, they decide to take it to Gold so she can look into it.

Part 6: the truth about the baby
when our heroes take the baby to Gold, she uses her magic to analyze the baby. Gold diagnosed that the baby is none other than Nikki. traveling through the time ripple must've effected Nikki's body, causing her to revert back into a baby. the gang that Platinum infiltrated their hideout must've found Nikki, but Gold is unaware if they knew the baby was Nikki. Gold also adds that Nikki must've knew our heroes deep within it's subconcious, meaning the old Nikki is tucked into her own head somewhere, but it will take time before she is matured back to normal. So for the time being, our heroes must protect Nikki until she returns back to her normal age. But there is a 50/50 chance Nikki might get her memories back. Brandon is weirded out that a thing like this has happened to Nikki, but is glad she turned out to be alive, albeit reverted back into a baby. as our heroes concluded their conversation with Gold, Nikki is already in her child stage, but she has no recollection of her past life.

Part 7: Greta's revenge
Suddenly, Cappy Town is under attack. our heroes find out the attacker is Greta who managed to escape the time ripple. Greta sees our heroes and eyes on Nikki, blasting a beam at our heroes. Greta tells our heroes wants revenge on Nikki for interfering with her plans. she was able to recogise Nikki even though she is young. Greta thinks it'll be easier to take out Nikki thanks to the effects of being lost in the time ripple rewinding her age to the point she forgot how to fight. due to her amnesia because she is still at a young age, Nikki doesn't remember fighting Greta nor why Greta wants revenge on her for. Brandon urges Nikki to run somewhere safe as they hold off Greta. as Nikki runs away, our heroes have no choice but to fight Greta since Nikki is too young, espeically because of the fact Nikki fotgot how to fight.

Part 8: Nikki comes back
just when Nikki is about to run out of Cappy Town for her safety, her body begins to glow. it would seem that time finally catches up to Nikki as she is back to being her age she had before, but that's not all. Nikki's old memories return to her like a tidal wave. Nikki also rememebers Greta and why she fought her. Ace is happy Nikki is back. seeing Ace as he coils around Nikki's arm Nikki also remembers how to fight. Nikki has officially come back to her senses. thinking it was Greta's fault for reverting her back into a baby, Nikki decides to fight Greta. Nikki goes up to Greta. Brandon tells Nikki to hide, but she tells him that she is now restored back to her original age and is ready for a rematch against Greta. as the two fight, Nikki tells Greta that time is a delevcate magic and should be taken into consideration. but Greta doesn't pay attention to Nikki's words.

Part 9: Nikki defeats Greta
thanks to being reverted back into a baby, Nikki somehow felt rejuvinated. plus, Nikki's old self was locked away in her head when she was reverted back into a baby and was unlocked when she reached. this made Nikki have an edge for beating Greta. she is then easily defeated by Nikki in no time. with Greata defeated, Nikki is curious and asks Greta why she would change the past. Great tells Nikki that she used to be a popular time sorceress. but when Nikki became princess, Greta became overshadowed. so she spent all theses year training to make her magic stronger in order to match Nikki's powerful Golden light magic. Nikki apologises to Greta, saying that she had no idea Greta was being overshadowed by her greatness. Brandon also adds that everyone can be popular in their own way, not just powerful magic. however, Greta could be popular agin since time magic is scarce in Popstar. Greta has seen the light and promises that she will only use her time powers for the greater good by being a protector of time as she creates a time ripple and leaves by jumping into it.

Part 10: reunited at last
with Nikki restored and Cappy Town in peace once again, everyone on Cappy Town is happy to have their princess back, particularity Brandon and Luna the most. however, Nikki begins to ponder about something. Nikki states that while her age was rewinded, she was able to see the concern everyone had for Nikki while she sacrificed herself by jumping into the time ripple. Nikki also thinks that the reason why her memories were sealed away in her head before she reached her current age was presumably by Estrella's doing. but Nikki smiles at everyone in Cappy town and thanks them all for their concern over her during her dissappearance. Nikki is happy that she was able to live out her childhood again albeit in puffball form from the effects of the time ripple, but is still sad that everyone can only be a child once.

Based on the Ninjago arc where Sensei Wu fought the Time Twins at the cost of rewinding his old age back to an infant and was found by the villains called the Sons of Garmadon.
