Coastal Trail in Anchorage, Alaska.

I borrowed my sister's bicycle and explored the coastal trail this week.It was so beautiful out, I didn't want to stop. There were scenes like this around every turn. Before I knew it, and hour and a half had passed and I was six miles out from the trail access near my sister's house.

While it was a gorgeous adventure, I certainly regretted it the next day when i couldn't stand without biting down to keep from screaming in agony. A spontaneous twelve-mile bike ride up and down gradual hills IS NOT a good idea when your body (and especially your knees and quads) isn't used to it.
