sorry may I ask where do these two characters come from? Because I've been hearing alot about pairings between people with country names on DA, something about russia and germany things like that, but I'm not sure what it's all about

They all come from a series called Hetalia, in which the characters all represent their respective countries. The original plot centers around WW2 and other historical wars, but it's a comedy essentially, so it wanders...
[link] Here they can explain a lot better than I can haha;;; It originally started as a sketchbook comic, then got published as a cleaned-up manga, and recently they've been animating it too! So of course the popularity has exploded.
