UPDATEOh well, some ppl asked me about any specific tools that I've used on this picture.
I've only used two kind of wonderful painting program, Adobe Photoshop CS and Painter VIII.
And also the tools that I frequently used are Acrylic and Oil tools in Painter.
Basically I always work both of two programs, paint on Painter and go across to Photoshop for checking its color and adjust traditional texture.
(well, I used to love to use Water color tool in Painter, but it requires to finish in once time that you work. So if you reopen it again, the water color layer that you've painted might not be used properly again if you wanna paint on the water color tool. It makes me feel nervous when I found out and still have some water color layers left...*sob*)

OMG!!!! Now this is what I want to learn how to do it!!!! you're awesome!!! could you please give a few details about this pic?? I don't know, maybe, did you ink it?? or was it pencil??? or was it done fully digital? what else.... umm... how do you scan it!! I saw the WIP image and it looked so clean and neat! when I scan and try to paint, the image always looks a lot dirty!!!

Usually for painting CG, I prefer to draw a lineart by pencil than inking it. Hmm, I don't know..but sometimes I think inking might occur over thick line and cause a picture doesn't look soft ne ^^"...kind of my personal reason hehe. I do not like to draw any lineart in a computer either...it's hard to control and makes me feel confused about a character proportion. So for me, I think drawing with pencil before CG is the best way XD!
Oh, actually my scanned picture is dirty too!, but the resolution that I've scanned a picture at least is 300 dpi. Of course it makes your picture looks massive size! but it's so good to look through its detail and deleate some spots or unuseful line that you do not want. In this process you just only do it carefully ne. When everything is prepared, I'll start to CG it next...that's it! XD

and yeah, I recommend when you use pencil sketching, please use a pencil level at least 2B to draw ne (I usually use 4B, it's really helpful and doesn't lose much detail when you scan it)
After you scanning, go to Adobe Photoshop. Choose Brightness/Contrast mode first for making your line looks so clean and more vivid, and then choose Adjust color to make any color that you've satisfied with it XD.

It was 3 weeks well spent!! It looks amazing! i love how you did the string of the bow oddly enough!!
And the fabric is just amazing! The colours you chose for the shadows are ones that i would never pic and its really inspired me to tr something with those type of shadows. I would never put grey into yellow and it just looks amazing!!1

This picture is really gorgeous and beautiful . I really like the folds and the coloring .But in my opinion , the perspective of the hands and the arms made the head look really big ... or either the arms really small . -_-ll Cant really say it ... but it just looks weird . Oh wow! She's gorgeouse! I love her dress and all of the folds were done so well! That's a hard angle to draw at too. At least for me anyway. xD I can never get the arms right. But really, this is stunning. You have definantly improved. :3
