actually the creator of both games said in an interview that axel's character came about because it would just be interesting to see reno in a different environment. so, in other words, axel is reno, just a tad different. interesting, no?

I think they're playing the original Super Mario Bros. X) And Axel is totally Mario. Haha. Oh, and Reno ain't freaking out because he lost. The catchy music is just driving him insane, yo.
